Prologue

In the beginning—before the hunger, before the silence, before the endless walk by the sea—I believed I understood the world. Day followed day, and everything that mattered could be seen, touched, or understood through reason. I carried my faith like a lantern: useful, comforting, rarely questioned. I never considered that a lantern only reveals what lies close at hand, leaving the rest of the world cloaked in shadow.

Then, something shifted.

It was subtle at first. A whisper at the edge of thought. Faint, peculiar impressions that pressed uninvited into my mind. Thoughts that weren’t mine—or that I had forgotten. Dreams that felt like warnings. The sense of being watched by something just out of sight. Only later did I understand how thin the veil truly was, and how easily it could be pierced.

I never asked for visions, miracles, or heavenly decrees. I sought only guidance: enough faith to make sense of the days ahead, and the courage to keep walking when the path was invisible. What came instead was far more than I could have imagined—and far heavier than I thought I could bear.

Looking back, the signs were there all along: the sudden hush, the weight in the air, the way the LightSpirit moved through the ordinary—birds, thoughts, strangers, dreams—to nudge me forward. The invisible realm was awake, moving long before I had learned to notice.

This is not just a story of certainty. It is a story of seeking. Of following the faintest thread of faith through a world that had forgotten how to breathe. Of learning that the spiritual realm does not sit far off, but presses close, whispering through storms, sunlight, and every quiet space in between.

I did not know where the journey would lead. Only one truth was certain: when the Triune Deity speaks, you follow.

And so, I did.
